Humanity & Consideration Reigns 2020

Our Almighty has created the Universe and He has deployed worthy and responsible caretakers to guard, guide, and nurture His unique handcrafts. Be it the spell-bounding flora and fauna or we the marvelous homo sapiens who have more nerve cells in our brain than there are stars in the Milky Way, damn, isn't that amazing?

Like every building bears the sweat of architects and hardworking laborers, similarly, an individual's growth, and flourishment are backed by his/her family and society. And when one grows to be a better human, society too grows to be a better one.

Though we're already surrounded by COVID19, economic & employment, stress few narrow-minded humans have pulled in religion to add upon the ongoing tensions.

Social media is filled with hatred spewing accounts that are busy playing the blame games in the name of Hindu and Muslim. Why don't these handfuls understand that religion is a mere division and above all such petty divisions we're humans? And if we unitedly stand together we could make the world a better place to breathe in.

I would like to share a few real-time 2020 happenings that prove humanity is above religion. Hey hatemongers, you might find it hurting but do learn how religion looks when synched with humanity:

  • This is West Bengal's Roimoni Das serving Iftar meal (the meal eaten by Muslims after sunset during Ramzan) to Fyaz & Manzoor Ahmed, two shawl traders from Kashmir. Every year they visit West Bengal for trading purposes & stay with Das family. Usually, they return to Kashmir before Ramzan, but this year due to lockdown they couldn't.

  • He is Shiv Kumar, offering shade with his towel to his fellow policeman Irfan Khan while he was offering his Namaz under the scorching heat.

  • With a collective effort of Marham, Delhi-based NGO, and The Hamdard National Foundation ration kits worth Rs 20 lakh were distributed to 20 extremely needy families as an alternative to offering 20 rakaat Taraweeh every evening in first 20 days of Ramzan.

  • A Mosque in Pune's Azam Campus has been converted into a 60-bed quarantine center. Moreover, Azam Campus management has distributed groceries worth over Rs 25 lakh to the poor and needy and also deployed five ambulances with a staff of 25 doctors to cater to the patients in central parts of the city including Kondhwa.

  • Uttar Pradesh's Alisha Khan broke her Ramzan fast to donate blood to Vijay Kumar Rastogi,  who was in dire need. Now, Vijay's health is doing better.

  • This Hindu lady woke up early morning to feed Sehri (the meal consumed early in the morning by before fasting) to a Muslim girl.

If you pin this for your life then trust me you are near to Him.
Religion & humanity go hand in hand. Period.
